Hopkinton 5K Race    7/4/10
The Hopkinton Lion's  assisted the Hopkinton Recreation Dept in organizing a 5 K race. Thanks to all the runners and volunteers (and the weather) who helped make this a successful race.

Pack 77 Pinewood Derby    3/20/10
The Hopkinton Lion's  had a great time helping Hopkinton Cub Scout Pack 77 with the setup and running the annual Pinewood Derby. Rumor has it that great quantities of ice cream were also consumed.

Hopkinton Lions Club assists Scouting for Food 11/14/09
Members of the Hopkinton Lions Club provided assistance in loading and transporting over 5030 food items collected by cubs from Hopkinton Cub Pack 77, Hopkinton Girl Scout Troops , and Boy Scout Troop 77. Thanks also to the Kearsarge Lodge of Odd Fellows for generously providing a collection and sorting point. Things went very well considering the cold rain. Thanks to all the residents for contributing to the cause.

Hopkinton Lions July 4th Activities -  7/4/09

The Lions worked with the Hopkinton Recreation Department to put on a  5K Road Race.

 92 runners  (and a few of man's best friends) participated on a beautiful day.

The Lion's green gator was also in the parade, dispensing candy for the younger folk.

Food Drive - Benefit Hopkinton Food Pantry, Saturday 10/25/08

A food collection was held on Saturday at Colonial Village Supermarket  in Contoocook, and also at the Cracker Barrel in Hopkinton  . Thanks once again to the generosity of the townspeople several hundred food items as well as cash were collected to help the Hopkinton Food Pantry. Thanks also to both the Colonial Village and the Cracker Barrel  for letting us use the space for this important event.

A great evening was enjoyed by all at the Cat and Fiddle. PCC Bruce Ribolini presented a Melvin Jones award to David Forest (accompanied by his wife Lorraine);  New member Chuck Yale is congratulated by Bruce (Carl Goodman, center) ; Entertainment was provided by "Auntie Henrietta"  (Ted Story the roastee, seated)
